Adhesive for welding process

This type of sealing adhesive replaces spot welding or reduces solder joints in the welding process, and plays the role of strengthening the structure, sealing and rust prevention, reducing vibration and noise, and generally requires good adhesion to the oil-faced steel plate. Since each station does not have special heating and curing equipment, it needs to be cured under the conditions of the car body paint process, so it is required that it should not be affected by the cleaning liquid and phosphating liquid, nor can it affect the quality of the electrophoretic paint. The main varieties are:

(1) Folding glue

It is used in curling structures such as car doors, engine hoods, trunk covers, etc. It has high bonding strength and has completely replaced spot welding structures. This type of glue currently generally uses one-component epoxy resin glue, and the amount of bicycle is about 200g.
 
(2) Spot welding sealant

Pre-coated on the welded joints of the steel plate, fill the gaps after spot welding to ensure sealing and prevent corrosion. Spot welding sealant is even more indispensable for those parts that are masked after assembly and difficult to apply weld sealant.
(3) Expansion damping glue

This type of glue is often used between the inner and outer panels of the door, and between the outer cover of the vehicle body and the reinforcing ribs. It is generally made of synthetic rubber or resin added with foaming agent. After curing and expansion, it can combine the cover with the reinforcing ribs and play the role of vibration and noise reduction. Dongfeng EQ1030 bicycles use around 400g of glue.
